Ember & Smoke began with a simple belief: that Uganda's finest ingredients, treated with fire and patience, need nothing else.
We source directly from farmers in Mbarara, fishermen on Lake Victoria, and market traders we have known for years. Every ingredient has a story before it reaches your plate.
Our wood-fired grill runs on acacia and eucalyptus — the same woods used in kitchens across East Africa for generations. We just learned to be precise about it.
